What’s in store for 2024: Ionic Rare Earths

Stockhead’s Fraser Palamara sits down with Ionic Rare Earths (ASX:IXR) managing director Tim Harrison to close the books on 2023 and gain a sneak peek into what’s around the corner.

2023 marked a big year for the company following the release of a feasibility study for the Makuutu rare earths project in Uganda.

“This is the first of six tenements that are now progressing to a mining licence application on the back of the DFS completion,” he says.

“We completed more drilling and we started building a demonstration plant, positioning ourselves for the next leg up in 2024.”
