StockTake: Bayan appoints star US adviser to advance rare earth projects

Bayan Mining and Minerals (ASX:BMM) has appointed a former US official as its newest strategic adviser to help progress the Desert Star rare earths projects in the United States.

Dr Steve Feldgus brings over two decades of senior leadership experience in the US government to the team, having worked as the Principal Deputy Assistant Secretary for Land and Minerals Management at the US Department of the Interior.

Bayan believes Dr Feldgus will be instrumental in advancing the Desert Star projects and ensure access for exploration and development, whilst guiding the company’s downstream strategy, collaborating with US tech companies, academic institutions, clean energy, environmental groups and Native American tribes.
