StockTake: Alice Queen ramps up Horn Island plans amid gold price surge
Host Tylah Tully unpacks Alice Queen’s (ASX:AQX) latest, after it announced plans to update the scoping study for its Horn Island project to reflect the recent surge in gold prices.
Alice Queen’s 2021 scoping study used a gold price of A$2,450 oz an ounce, but prices have risen to around A$6,000 an ounce, a 150% increase.
That’s got Alice Queen updating its Scoping Study to reflect current gold prices as well as revised Mineral Resource Estimates, and updated assumptions on mining, processing, infrastructure, and costs.
