In a neighbourhood of heroes the likes of Azure Minerals, GreenTech Metals is carving out its name as a serious player in the Pilbara after releasing samples grading above 2% lithium from its Osborne JV in early October.

Stockhead’s Ashtyn Hiron sits down with GreenTech Metals (ASX:GRE) executive director Thomas Reddicliffe to get the 101 on the company’s latest announcement.

The market this year has been set alight by lithium success stories in the Pilbara, namely Azure Minerals’ triumphs at the drill bit on its Andover project to uncover high-grade, sprawling lithium-bearing pegmatites. To the west, GreenTech is starting to uncover its own success at its Osborne JV and the Ruth Well projects.

Following mapping and rock chip sampling at Osborne, GreenTech muses its lithium zones extend beyond 11km in strike, with multiple and extensive lithium-pegmatite zones identified.

Reddicliffe told Stockhead TV GreenTech was humbly undertaking the foundational works as Azure once did months ago before making its mega discoveries in the area.

“We are trying to define, map and sample the pegmatites that are on our tenements,” he said.

Tune in to hear GreenTech Metals’ Thomas Reddicliffe on the Pilbara’s lithium rush, what to look for when making a lithium discovery and the company’s next move in the bustling neighbourhood.
