RockTalk is a Stockhead video series featuring a roundtable of resources experts discussing a new macro topic each week.

In this episode, host Peter Strachan delves back into the booming Canadian lithium market with two explorers.

Populating the expert panel for this discussion are Travis Schwertfeger, chairman at Many Peaks Gold (ASX:MPG) and Felicity Repacholi-Muir, managing director at Recharge Metals (ASX:REC).

Many Peaks is an emerging mineral exploration company seeking to add value through cost effective exploration and discovery in tier one jurisdictions. The company’s projects in central Queensland include the Yarrol Cobalt project, and several gold and copper targets including Mt Steadman, Mt Weary and Yarrol Gold projects located within a proven gold province with excellent infrastructure in a region hosting intrusion related gold (IRG) systems, porphyry and epithermal style gold to copper-gold systems.

Many Peaks Gold recently announced initial Heavy Mineral (HM) separation tests for its Plateau cobalt project in Queensland confirmed concentrated cobalt mineralisation hosted in manganese oxides – with results returning over 1% cobalt.

Recharge Metals is an exploration company focused on the exploration of the Express Lithium Project (100%) in the world class James Bay lithium district in Canada, as well as progressing the copper-focused Brandy Hill South Project in Western Australia.

The company has recently expanded its landholding in the emerging James Bay lithium province in Quebec following its acquisition of the Wapistan project about 120km north of its flagship Express project.
