In this episode, host Peter Strachan discusses the rare earth market’s peaking interest boosts stock prices for local explorers.
Populating the expert panel for this discussion are James Durrant, CEO at RareX (ASX:REE) and Will Robinson, managing director at Encounter Resources (ASX:ENR).
RareX is a rare earths company focusing on developing the Cummins Range Project in Western Australia. Cummins Range has potential for high Neodymium and Praseodymium (“NdPr”) enrichment which are critical elements in the manufacture of rare earth permanent magnets used in electric vehicles, wind turbines and advanced weapon systems.
A recent Scoping Study highlights Stage 1 as a low-cost path to de-risk Cummins Range rare earth and phosphate development.
Encounter is advancing large-scale projects in the emerging copper regions in Australia, including the Aileron project in the West Arunta critical minerals province where recent exploration has established the IOCG and rare earth element (“REE”) potential of the region.
Encounter recently kicked off 10,000m drilling blitz in the West Arunta, and the 10,000m drill program will run to the end of the 2023 field season, with assays starting in October.
The panel of experts discuss a range of topics including the market tripling the stock price for ENR, REE’s scoping study for Cummins Range Project and more.
