Long Shortz with Redcastle Resources: Upgraded resource drives path to production
Tylah Tully speaks with Redcastle Resources (ASX:RC1) director Ron Miller following the release of the company’s updated Mineral Resource Estimate (MRE) from recent drilling at the Queen Alexandra and Redcastle Reef deposits in WA.
At Queen Alexandra, the resource was upgraded to 265,000 tonnes at 3.4 g/t gold for 29,000 ounces, while Redcastle Reef delivered a maiden estimate of 224,000 tonnes at 1.8 g/t gold for 13,000 ounces, bringing the total MRE to 42,000 ounces across both deposits.
Miller discusses the significance of the resource growth, next steps toward securing a mining lease, and Redcastle’s broader ambitions for near-term production.
