It was all smiles for the Maximus team when the company grew the resource at its Wattle Dam gold project by 250% in early August.

Stockhead’s Sarah Hughan sits down with Maximus Resources (ASX:MXR) managing director Tim Wither to get the short end of the long story on the company’s latest announcement.

Maximus is following up the resource increase with a gold and nickel drilling campaign at the tenements outside of Kambalda in WA.

The new drill campaign follows successful step out drilling from the historical Wattle Dam gold mine, which was once one of Australia’s highest-grade gold operations, churning $800m worth of product in a short amount of time.
