Ionic Rare Earths Limited (ASX: IXR) is developing the Makuutu Rare Earths Project (Makuutu) to be a globally significant producer of both Heavy Rare Earths Oxides (HREO) and Critical Rare Earth Oxides (CREO), providing a viable large scale, low capital cost alternative supply chain outside of China.

Ionic recently embarked on the fourth phase of infill drilling that will see three rigs working to convert existing inferred resources into higher confidence indicated resources, plus convert exploration target areas on the Makuutu Central licence RL 1693.
