Stockhead’s Ashtyn Hiron sits down with Queensland Pacific Metals Managing Director Dr. Stephen Grocott to close the books on 2023 and gain a sneak peek into what’s around the corner.

Queensland Pacific Metals is developing the 100% owned Townsville Energy Chemicals Hub (TECH) Project. The TECH Project will be a modern and sustainable battery metals refinery, 40km south of Townsville, in northern Queensland, Australia.

“We secured our gas supplier for the TECH Project by acquiring the Moranbah Gas Project (MGP), that de-risks our energy supply to the TECH Project which is really really important,” Grocott says.

“It also creates a cashflow positive business to underpin the whole development of QPM.”
