What’s in store for 2024: Brightstar Resources

Stockhead’s Sarah Hughan sits down with Brightstar Resources (ASX:BTR) managing director Alex Rovira to close the books on 2023 and gain a sneak peek into what’s around the corner.

“2023 was a big year for Brightstar, it really started off with the merger with Kingwest Resources. That was completed in May of last year and saw the combination of two businesses as a catalyst for significant change,” Rovira said.

“[In Menzies and Laverton], we drilled over 20,000m, we released a highly positive scoping study in September and a number of resource upgrades to take the group JORC resource to over 1moz. It was a really busy year and we’re getting right back into it now.”
