First earth moving equipment arrives at Aurora Tank, with work underway on preparing sumps and drill pads.
After a week onsite at the Aurora Tank Gold Project in South Australia’s Gawler Craton, Marmota says the latest RC drill program is ready to kick off. Drillers are due to arrive over the weekend. Marmota has recently reported multiple intersections featuring outstanding grades over 100 g/t over 1m at Aurora Tank, with the first high-quality BLEG testwork reporting grades over 200 g/t over 1m last month.
Marmota (ASX:MEU) says the acquisition of its own equipment allows the company to proceed with operations with less reliance on external contractors when preparing for drilling on both 100% owned and JV tenements.
The earth moving equipment will be permanently stationed at Aurora Tank for ongoing site works. Marmota is hoping that this will be the final drilling program at Aurora Tank prior to progressing to a Mining Lease.
