Stockhead’s ‘Garimpeiro’ columnist Barry FitzGerald is geared up and ready to dig deep for another installment of The Explorers Podcast.

In this episode Barry chats with Nick Castleden, managing director of Apollo Consolidated (ASX:AOP).

Apollo Consolidated is a WA-based gold exploration company holding a portfolio of tenements in East Kalgoorlie and the Kimberley.

Prior to the discovery of its flagship Lake Rebecca Project in WA, Apollo completed significant exploration in the Birimian Goldfields of Côte d’Ivoire.

Following completion of a sale agreement with Exore Resources (ASX:ERX), Apollo sold 80 per cent of its three northern tenements for 90m shares and a 20 per cent free carry to Decision to Mine.

Sitting fireside with Barry, the pair discuss breaking first ground in Côte d’Ivoire, valuing Lake Rebecca’s upside and Africa’s answer to the WA goldfields.
