Stock Insiders is podcast series focused investing hosted by TV presenter and news journalist Christina Morrissy.
In this episode Christina chats to Gavin Loyden, managing director at QEM (ASX:QEM).
QEM is focused on the exploration and development of the Julia Creek Vanadium and Oil Shale Project, located in one of the world’s richest critical minerals regions, on Wunumara Aboriginal Lands, 6km southeast of Julia Creek, in northwest Queensland.
The company is set to power its Julia Creek vanadium and oil shale project with renewable energy after the Queensland Government announced a major purchase. The deal will see the Queensland government spend $5bn to buy and upgrade the CopperString 2.0 project to connect the North West Minerals Province – where Julia Creek is located – with the national energy grid near Townsville.
