BPH is a diversified company holding investments in biotechnology and resources. BPH holds a significant interest (36%) in unlisted oil and gas exploration company Advent Energy Ltd. Advent Energy is an unlisted oil and gas exploration and production company formed in 2004 and based in Perth, Western Australia.

The company recently made Stockhead headlines after Prime Minister Scott Morrison secretly assumed control of his government’s Resources Portfolio  and then blocked BPH Energy’s PEP-11 gas exploration licence. According to the company, Morrison clearly “failed to afford procedural fairness” by reversing the desperately-needed gas extension and re-evaluation under PEP-11.
