Special Report: Lanthanein Resources has drilled the first diamond tail into the modelled conductor plate under EM Line #6 at its Lady Grey project at Mt Holland in WA’s Yilgarn region.

The drilling from a reverse circulation pre-collar represents the second phase of the program, which seeks to test the potential of Lady Grey to host gold.

Lady Grey is along strike from the historical Bounty mine which produced ~1.3Moz of gold at Covalent Lithium’s Mount Holland mine site.

Lanthanein Resource’s (ASX:LNR) targeted conductor plate is aligned with a surface gold geochemical anomaly coincident with a regional structural zone favourable for hosting gold.

“Once again we are really excited to finally get the diamond bit spinning on the diamond tails testing the modelled EM conductor plate under Line #6 which coincides with a 75ppb UFF soil gold anomaly,” technical director Brian Thomas said.

“We continue to liaise with DEMIRS on the PoW to enable drill testing of the much higher ranking EM conductor plate under Line #1 which coincides with the 256ppb gold UFF soil anomaly with the flora and fauna survey report lodged with DEMIRS and the on ground heritage survey by Ballardong Aboriginal Corporation and their heritage consultants now complete.”

Drilling plan

The modelled conductor plate under MLEM Line #6 is being drilled from the existing historical access road which links the old Lady Ada mine and the Marvel Loch-Forrestania road.

Three diamond tails will be drilled from RC pre-collars to test the plate, which is 200m below surface and dips to the east.
