Infinity Stone has highlighted its belief in the prospectivity of its Camaro Hellcat lithium project in Quebec’s James Bay region with the expansion of its land position.

The company has staked and acquired an additional 359ha and two more claims at its Camaro Hellcat project, which is adjacent to Patriot Battery Metals’ (ASX:PMT) Corvette project that has seen fantastic drill hits such as 52.2m at 3.34% Li2O and 156.9m at 2.12% Li2O.

Infinity Stone Ventures’ new claims increase its total land position up to 5,546ha and includes historical surface samples that returned assays of up to 57 parts per million (ppm) lithium.

“We are excited to further expand the Hellcat Camaro Project in James Bay near Patriot’s Corvette discovery. As the spring exploration season rapidly approaches, we are renewing our focus on the project and are actively evaluating new claim blocks that are adjacent and near the current project footprint,” chief executive officer Zayn Kalyan said.

“The James Bay region, specifically the CV lithium trend discovered by PMET, is quickly becoming the epicentre of lithium exploration in North America and we are excited to have a prospective land package in the region.

“We are looking forward to being able to get back on the ground with more data following our geophysics program to conduct a renewed and focused exploration program.”

New claims

The new claims, which are also close to Winsome Resources’ (ASX:WR1) Cancet discovery hole, contain at least four historical mapped pegmatites.

Infinity Stone plans to carry out further exploration to identify any other potential pegmatites.

It will also carry out a focused exploration program on the Hellcat claim block, alongside the initial prospecting program on the new claims, in the early spring.

This program will leverage the results of its winter geophysics program in targeting sampling and trenching while further enabling the mapping and delineation of the pegmatitic units across the claim blocks.
