Codrus Minerals (ASX:CDR) started the day off right with a report of high-grade clay hosted REE mineralisation at the Karloning project.
A 1,906m RC drilling program returned 12m grading 2,680ppm including 4m grading 4,764ppm TREO meaning two styles of mineralisation have now been confirmed – hard rock pegmatite mineralisation and clay hosted REEs.
Another resources player, Recharge Metals (ASX:REC), went for a bit of a run after revealing the successful acquisition of the Express lithium project and completion of a A$3m share placement to advance exploration activities.
The Express project is in the heart of Quebec’s James Bay region, which is fast becoming a major new lithium district.
For now, the company is focused on progressing exploration activities at the site, concentrating on identifying pegmatites on the ground ahead of a helicopter-assisted field program.
And capping off the small cap mining news today is Caprice (ASX:CRS) with the discovery of soil/rock anomaly up to 3,761ppm REO at the Mukinbudin project in WA.
“The results justify follow-up work to further assess QC2 to delineate drill targets, as well as continue to explore other parts of the 380km2 project, with only 20% of the tenement having been actively explored to date,” MD Andrew Muir says.
More sampling is underway to test remaining strike length of the outcropping pegmatite called QC2, which is 1.5km long all up.
Moving across to the world of clinical stage pharmaceuticals, Icannex Healthcare (ASX:IHL) and its subsidiary – Clarion Clinics – entered a lease for riverfront premises in Abbottsford, Melbourne.
The clinic is designed as a commercial scale prototype, which can be scaled up and replicated to other locations and will have capacity to treat over 600 patients per year in normal working hours.
Incannex has ordered an initial supply of psilocybin and MDMA through an arrangement with Pharmala Biotech to facilitate the commencement of clinical operations.
