Stock analysis veteran and lover of the commodities game, Peter Strachan, is putting aside the charts and picking up the gold bullion for a special hard-rock instalment of The Wildcatter Podcast.

In this episode Peter chats with Alex Dorsch, managing director of Chalice Gold Mines (ASX:CHN).

Chalice is an exploration company with a portfolio of district-scale, highly prospective gold and nickel projects in Australia, as well as several investments, royalties and non-operated joint venture interests.

The company has generated over $100m from asset sales and returned over $35m to shareholders since inception in 2006.

Chalice’s flagship asset is the 100 per cent-owned Pyramid Hill gold project, a commanding >5,000sqkm land holding in the high-grade and essentially unexplored northern Bendigo gold district of Victoria.

In March 2020, the company discovered a high-grade nickel-copper-palladium sulphide zone at the Julimar project. The project covers a large unexplored intrusive complex ~70km northeast of Perth and was staked as part of Chalice’s global search for high-potential nickel sulphide exploration opportunities.

So tune in to hear the pair discuss Chalice’s share price jump, gold investing and the year ahead.
