GBR managing director Andrew Paterson says these latest results demonstrate mineralisation is very much open along strike at the Ironbark discovery within the wider Side Well Gold Project.

These latest results are from an additional 2.5 holes from the Phase 2 RC program drilled at Ironbark in early July.

Mineralisation remains open to the north, with hole 22IBRC014 being the northernmost hole yet drilled at the prospect.

Highlights returned so far have found 20m at 3.16g/t gold from 16m, including 8m at 6.66g/t gold from 28m.

Mineralisation is also open to the south, with assays yet to be received for drilling in that area.

Metallurgical testing underway on samples from RC drilling

Great Boulder Resources (ASX:GBR) managing director Andrew Paterson says these recent results include a thick shallow intersection in hole 22IBRC014 and metallurgical testing is now underway on samples from the first two phases of RC drilling.

“The remaining assay results from drilling should be received in the next two weeks, and we will start Phase 2 RC drilling as soon as the approvals are in place.”

Because GBR has not had time to compile updated cross sections, these will be included in the next exploration update for Ironbark.

Assays from the remaining 6.5 RC holes in this phase of drilling are expected within the next two weeks.
