Nova Minerals (ASX:NVA) made waves earlier this month after the US Department of War awarded the company more than US$43 million in support towards the development of its Estelle gold and critical minerals project in Alaska.

In particular, this money will go a long way in paving the way towards antimony production at Estelle – supporting the US’ aspirations of domestically producing such critical minerals.

Antimony is crucial for military equipment, including infrared missiles, nuclear weapons, night-vision goggles, bullets, tanks, and much more.
