Explorers Podcast: Copper producer Austral Resources plans to fast-track output, vastly increase oxide production

Austral Resources Australia operates in the Mt Isa region, located in Queensland, Australia. Its asset mix has a diversity rarely seen in the Australian small cap mining space. The company is a copper cathode producer and copper miner/explorer.

The company has its eye on increasing its copper cathode production and is forming a strategic collaboration with Glencore to supercharge production. Additionally, an optimisation study confirmed that an additional 94,000t could be produced for Austral from its previously mined pits over the next two to five years.
