Apollo increases the footprint of its Kroussou zinc-lead project by 140%
Stockhead’s ‘Garimpeiro’ columnist Barry FitzGerald is back in the studio for another instalment of The Explorers Podcast.
In this episode Barry chats to Neil Inwood, managing director at Apollo Minerals (ASX:AON)
Apollo Minerals is focused on the development of the Kroussou Project, consisting of the Prospecting License G4-569 which covers 986.5km2 in the Ngounié Province of Western Gabon.
The company recently made headlines increasing the footprint of its flagship Kroussou zinc-lead project in Gabon by a massive 140% to capture the potential for large-scale, Mississippi Valley-type mineralisation.
“The potential for further discoveries at Kroussou is immense and very exciting” says Neil, adding, “Gabon is Africa’s emerging low carbon mining powerhouse”.
