Conico has launched a new drilling program at its promising Ryberg project in Greenland.

The first holes in the drilling campaign launched by Conico (ASX:CNJ) at the 100% owned Ryberg Project will target platinum group elements at the Cascata prospect, as well as copper, nickel, PGE and gold prospects at the Sortekap prospect.

Ryberg has some incredible attributes for an early stage exploration venture, with a massive land package of 4521sqkm on the east coast of Greenland, just 430km northwest of Iceland.

Geochemical analysis has already identified samples rich in copper, nickel, cobalt, palladium and gold.

Drilling is also scheduled to commence at the Mestersvig project this week, with personnel and equipment on site.

Mestersvig is a zinc-lead-copper-silver project, with the program to make use of two diamond rigs recently acquired by Conico alongside the three rigs onsite at Ryberg.

That’s not all – field investigations of new prospects identified from a 2021 aeromagnetic survey like Pyramiden, Quest and Qiterpiaaneq will start in the next few days.
