RockTalk is a Stockhead video series featuring a roundtable of resources experts discussing a new macro topic each week.

In this episode, host Peter Strachan takes a look at the latest developments in Canada’s booming lithium business.

Populating the expert panel for this discussion are Tom Ridges, technical advisor to Fin Resources (ASX:FIN) and Luke Cox, CEO at Green Technology Metals (ASX:GT1).

Fin Resources is focused on the development of the North Onslow Solar Salt Project (NOSSP). The company is investigating the use of renewable energy in the form of wind and solar energy to create a zero-carbon footprint project and potentially produce value added products. Fin Resources has recently identified several clay hosted lithium targets at its Gaspe project in southeast Quebec, Canada.

Green Technology Metals is North American focussed lithium exploration and development business. The company’s 100% owned Ontario Lithium Projects comprise high-grade, hard rock spodumene assets. The company has transformed its Root project in Ontario, Canada, nearly tripling of its resources after defining a resource estimate for the Root Bay deposit.
