Manganese miner OM Holdings (ASX:OMH) has been given the all clear from the Northern Territory government to restart mining at the Bootu Creek manganese mine.
Mining has been suspended since August following the death of a worker.
OM said in-pit mining operations could restart in a staged manner, with each stage subject to independent review and approval.
The company added that there was currently no proposal for any in-pit mining operations in the Tourag pit, where the fatality took place.
The news edged shares up over 4 per cent to 50.5c.
