Bubalus conducts a gallium high note at Amadeus as critical mineral potential builds

  • BUS leadership puts boots on ground at Amadeus and Nolan’s East projects in NT
  • Review of Amadeus sampling reveals elevated gallium, manganese, cobalt
  • Successful drill site inspection at Nolan’s East ahead of maiden drilling

Special Report: Bubalus Resources has confirmed previous critical mineral sampling at the Amadeus project and liaised with stakeholders ahead of a maiden drilling program at the Nolan’s East REE project during a recent field visit.

BUS executives reviewed samples from Amadeus taken in the 2022-2023 season, confirming gallium grades up to 260 parts per million, manganese up to 40.1% and cobalt up to 5968ppm.

Bubalus Resources (ASX:BUS) intends to follow up on those results with a field sampling program designed to assess the extent and potential of the gallium mineralisation at Amadeus.

The company will follow up with detailed geological and structural mapping, a review and integration of geophysical data sets to refine drilling targets, and a ranking of prospects based on combined gallium, manganese and polymetallic indicators.

Nolan’s East REE project

BUS also visited the Nolan’s East rare earth element (REE) project ahead of a maiden drilling program on the tenure.

Management reviewed access conditions, surface anomalies and drill-pad locations, inspecting eight priority target zones.

Bubalus is in the final stages of securing a land-access agreement with the relevant pastoral leaseholder, the last precursor to drill rig mobilisation.

Over the short term, BUS will focus on:

  • Finalising the land-access agreement and mobilising drilling contractors for a maiden REE-focused campaign at Nolan’s East
  • Completing gallium-focused field campaigns ahead of drill-target ranking at the Amadeus project
  • Continued engagement with Traditional Owners and landholders as a central pillar of project progression
