Belararox MD joins ArCham Advisory bolstering mining ties

  • Belararox MD Arvind Misra joins ArCham Australia alongside Curtin University professor Mark Buntine
  • The council advances commercial, academic and cultural links between Argentina and Australia
  • BRX Arvind Misra says the appointment highlights the company’s commitment to education and stakeholder partnerships

Special report: Belararox is deepening its ties with Argentina with managing director Arvind Misra appointed to the Advisory Council of ArCham Australia.

The council helps shape collaboration across mining, education, and culture, and Misra’s appointment reflects Belararox’s (ASX:BRX) active role in driving outcomes on the ground.

Over the past year, the company has supported MoUs linking Curtin University with provincial governments in Mendoza and San Juan, paving the way for skills development, student exchanges, joint research and future workforce capability in the Andes.

ArCham says both Misra and Curtin’s Professor Mark Buntine will bring valuable expertise to building cross-border initiatives with real impact.

BRX managing director Arvind Misra says the appointment strengthens the company’s institutional network and underscores its commitment to education and constructive stakeholder partnerships wherever it operates.

“Through ArCham, we aim to deepen collaboration across industry, academia and government, opening access to co-funded research and training,” he said.

“These initiatives enhance capability, reduce execution risk and reinforce our ESG focus as we advance our exploration pipeline.”

New exploration phase begins at TMT

Belararox recently kicked off its field season at the TMT project, with site inspections and civil works already underway to mark the start of an exciting new exploration phase.

Local contractor BRIG S.R.L has been brought on to handle track clearing, ensuring quick access to the TMT camp and Toro South target.

From October, MT/IP surveys will begin across Tambo South and Toro South to sharpen drill targets ahead of a potential Q4 program.

Early surface sampling at Toro South – just 20km from ATEX Resources’ giant Valeriano copper-gold project – has already returned anomalous copper, gold and silver, hinting at a potential epithermal system sitting above a larger porphyry target.
