Its Valentine’s Day and we have all had our share of dating disasters but topping this particular yarn would be a challenge.

CNN reported that a Massachusetts woman became a very surprised and unexpected getaway driver after a man she met on a dating app robbed a bank on their first date back in 2016.

The bank-robber/first date was sentenced to three years jail earlier this week and the unnamed woman walked away without a charge and probably a healthy distrust towards online dating.

Here are this week’s ASX Small Cap Winners & Losers:

ASX SMALL CAP WINNERS

Moho Resources (ASX:MOH) +77%

Moho was one of the chart toppers this week after drilling extended known high-grade gold mineralisation at its East Sampson Dam prospect near Kalgoorlie.

This included a top hit of 2m at 24.61 grams per tonne (g/t) gold from a depth of 56m, within a broader intersection of 5m at 10.36g/t gold from 54m.

The company expects to deliver a maiden resource in March and the results to date make it more likely that it could achieve its goal of bringing the prospect into early production.

Middle Island Resources (ASX:MDI) +50%

Shares in Middle Island climbed this week after the company said it had started a 12,800m drilling program aimed at confirming, expanding and/or testing 14 open pit targets within 4km of its gold processing plant at the Sandstone project in WA.

The drilling is designed to increase and upgrade existing open pit resources ahead of the completion of an updated pre-feasibility study in the June quarter.

ASX SMALL CAP LOSERS

Emerald Clinics (ASX:EMD) -38%

Shares in ASX newcomer Emerald Clinics tumbled after listing earlier this week as a general malaise impacted cannabis stocks.

However, the company had a successful $6m IPO and plans to use the funds to grow its business.

Like some other cannabis companies, it has a network of clinics but the difference is it makes its money from selling data that can be used to evaluate the safety and efficiency of cannabinoid medicines.
