Weekly ASX small cap wrap: Who’s swallowing face masks this week?

Face masks are often touted for their ability to help reduce the risks of infection from illnesses like COVID-19.
However, they are not generally considered to be culinary delights, unless you are an inmate at a certain Alabama jail.
The inmates have been refused face masks on fears that they could hurt themselves or others with metal nose pieces or, for the ones without metal nose pieces, be tied together into ropes.
“You give them face masks (with) a nose piece — metal pieces in them — they’re going to eat them,” a spokesman for the Madison County Sheriff’s office said. “They’re going to swallow them.”

ASX SMALL CAP WINNERS
Intra Energy Corporation Ltd (ASX:IEC) +225%
Shares in the coal miner jumped on no news this week.
In response to an ASX price query, IEC said it wasn’t aware of any information that would warrant increased trading in the company’s shares.
Mayur Resources (ASX:MRL) +220%
Mayur shares more than doubled on no news this week, though the company did report a maiden reserve for its Orokolo Bay mineral and industrial sands project in Papua New Guinea last week.
Almost half of the reserve of 30.6 million tonnes is suitable for use as construction sand along with substantial amounts of iron, titanium and zircon.
Orokolo Bay is fully funded through a partnership with China Titanium Resource Holdings Ltd in return for a 49 per cent interest in the mineral sands portfolio.

Shares in the hand sanitiser manufacturer took a hit after it told investors that COVID-19 restrictions had disrupted supply chains globally. Additionally, it pointed to “race related unrest” as an extra inhibiting factor in the US.
