Business data tracker 9 Spokes (ASX:9SP) dropped 57 per cent this week after losing a contract with a key customer, Royal Bank of Canada.
The bank had been planning to sell a white-label version of the 9 Spokes software to its business customers — but decided to abandon the idea due to a “change in strategic direction”.
The loss of the contract would have a “meaningful impact on revenue until further customers are brought on board”.
In the meantime, 9 Spokes will cut costs and reduce cash burn. Discussions with other potential bank customers were continuing.
The shares closed at 2.5c.
