ASX Small Cap Winners Jun 18-22
Cloud computing stock Dropsuite (ASX:DSE) is having a blinder of a month.
The stock has nearly tripled since the start of June — and put on 50 per cent this week to close at 10.5c.
Dropsuite told investors last week it had passed 300,000 paying users of its online back-up service for small and medium businesses.
That’s up from 250,000 users a month earlier — and was due to a marketing campaign by an IT partner.
Dropsuite also signed up a Vietnamese hosting provider Mat Bao which will sell Dropsuite’s Backup for Websites and Office 365 product.

Ahalife (ASX:AHL) has mostly tumbled in price this year — but the online fashion retailer jumped 50 per cent to 1.8c this week after foreshadowing its full-year result.
Sales were expected to hit $6.8 million — an improvement of 19 per cent. It was expecting a smaller loss of $1.9 million — down from $2.7 milion last year.
The e-tailer was focused on “growth through strategic partnerships” and was reviewing “a number of potential opportunities”.
AHL touched a 12-month high of 4.1c late last year.
Business consultant and software provider K2Fly (ASX:K2F) has also reversed a downward trend this year after winning a spot for its software on software giant SAP’s app marketplace.
The shares gained 30 per cent to 30c for the week, compared to a 12-month high of 39c.
Cannabis play eSense-Lab (ASX:ESE) gained 35 per cent to 8.1c after announcing a move into medicinal cannabis products.
Most recently known for developing cannabis aroma liquids for electronic cigarettes, Esense told investors this week that it was testing its “terpene” chemical compound for medicinal qualities — especially its anti-inflammatory effect.
Terpenes are fragrant plant oils that carry flavour and aroma and are said to offer some medicinal properties.
“The company’s terpene formulation showed signs of cellular growth arrest,” Esense said.
“Despite their role as an aromatic and flavour agent, terpenes have been found to possess a multitude of medical applications ranging from fighting cancer, battling the inflammation of arthritis and up to treating depression.”

Junior explorer Hawkstone Mining (ASX:HWK) regained ground after telling investors it was looking at a new acquisition to replace last week’s failed purchase of USA Lithium.
Hawkstone has fallen from 4.5c to 1.7c since April. But this week the stock gained 29 per cent to 2.2c before going into suspension. An announcement is due Tuesday.

ASX Small Cap Losers Jun 18-22
Fintech Raiz Invest (ASX:RZI) experienced a difficult start to ASX life on Thursday.
The micro-investing platform — which rebranded from Acorns Australia a few months back — raised $15.1 million in an IPO of 8.4 million shares issued at $1.80 each.
The shares fell 23 per cent to $1.39 for the week.
About $4 million of the IPO funds raised will go towards meeting the company’s regulatory requirements under its Australian Financial Services Licence, according to the prospectus.
Another $5 million will go towards international expansion and $2 million will go towards a “one-off bonus for key employees of the Raiz Group”.
This includes a $1 million one-off cash bonus to the company’s managing director, George Lucas.
