Weekly ASX small cap wrap: Who’s pretending to be real this week?
News
We’ve all had the same experience of wondering through the shops to find a really nice potted plant only to realise that on closer inspection it’s just a really good fake.
Not entirely a bad thing mind you, the savings on trying to keep indoor plants alive can be significant.
However, this might be taking it a little far.
An American woman had been taking care of what she described as the perfect succulent for about two years, going so far as to have a watering plan for it.
That is, until she tried repotting it and found that it was a fake.
On that sorry note, we turn to the ASX Small Ords, which avoided the massive slump it experienced last week.
It was a still a bit of a rollercoaster, but here are some of the small cap movers.

Internet of Things solution provider Sensera found favour with investors this week after signing a worldwide distribution agreement with Braemac, which has 21 offices globally.
The company said Braemac’s global footprint and strong presence in the entire Pacific Rim region, and especially Australia, will further extend its market coverage.
The distribution agreement covers the entire range of Sensera’s IoT products, which includes chips, RF modules, sensors, anchors and software.
Titanium Sands climbed this week after its aircore drilling highlighted depth potential to substantially increase previously reported surface exposed heavy mineral sands mineralisation at its Mannar Island project in Sri Lanka.
Assays from the program indicated that 89 per cent of the 473 holes drilled had returned intercepts of between 2 per cent and 11 per cent total heavy minerals (THM).
The company noted that the results indicated the current resource of 90.03 million tonnes grading 6.6 per cent THM was underlain by large areas of deeper mineralisation.
While this mineralisation may be lower grade than the existing resource, it is laterally extensive and typically extends down to at least 5m to 12m below surface below the current resource.

Murray River Organics (ASX:MRG) -53%
The top loser on Stockhead’s small caps watchlist, Murray River Organics, has not had an enjoyable time this week after emerging from suspension following a bit of a board upheaval and a $25m capital raise.
It went into suspension back in December regarding discussions with its financier.
