Good morning, and welcome to Stockhead’s Top 10 at shortly-before-11-ish, which is meant to highlight the best (and sometimes worst) performing ASX stocks in morning trade using live data, to provide a short, sharp update to help frame the trading day by showing the biggest movers in percentage terms that have made announcements.

The market opens at 10am (eastern time) and the data is taken at 10:15am, once every ASX stock has started trading. Here’s what’s happened so far.

Pre-market, the ASX was expected to open higher this morning after another solid night on Wall Street, and it didn’t disappoint, jumping 0.6% in the first 30 minutes of play.

Looking ahead, we’re all waiting patiently for the latest set of numbers telling us how many visitors there have been to Australia’s shores in recent times.

Will we be back to pre-pandemic levels? Does anyone other than Paul Hogan and Lara Bingle really care? We’ll certainly find out at 11:30am, so stay tuned for this riveting announcement.
