Good morning, and welcome to Stockhead’s Top 10 at shortly-before-11-ish, which is meant to highlight the best (and sometimes worst) performing ASX stocks in morning trade using live data, to provide a short, sharp update to help frame the trading day by showing the biggest movers in percentage terms that have made announcements.

The market opens at 10am (eastern time) and the data is taken at 10:15am, once every ASX stock has started trading – for better or worse – and then I do my best to make sense of who’s moving where and why it might be happening.

Anyway… here’s what’s been happening since the doors were opened this morning…

The ASX is down slightly this morning. I’m blaming you for it, this time.

Mt Malcolm Mines (ASX:M2M) was soaring Friday morning after hitting “unprecedented” gold results from its recent Grade Control RC drilling campaign at the Golden Crown Prospect. The company reported highlights such as 14m @ 16.78g/t Au from 4m, including 1m @ 111g/t Au, and 6m @ 36.75g/t Au.

That’s not a typo – it really says 111g/t.

Meanwhile, MRG Metals (ASX:MRQ) was down on news it had completed a $800,000 capital raising comprising a Placement of 177.7 million fully paid ordinary shares at $0.0045 per share.

Likewise, Trigg Mining (ASX:TMG) was down on news it has binding commitments for a share placement to sophisticated, professional and institutional investors, which received strong interest, allowing the company to raise $600,000.

And Strike Resources (ASX:SRK) was down after releasing a company update, outlining roughly what the company’s plans for the future are.
