Today’s biggest winners are led by Lode Resources (ASX:LDR), which has intersected the “most significant” results to date in drilling at the Webbs Consol silver-base metals project in NSW.
Hole WCS023 at the Castlereagh prospect returned a tidy 50m grading 284g/t silver equivalent from 17m.
And hole WCS020 at the Tangoa prospect has intersected 31m grading 224g/t silver equivalent.
The company says the mineral system at the project now extends over a 3km strike length, and the plan is to test newly mapped surface mineralisation and the depth extent of the strike in Phase 2 drilling.
Winchester Energy (ASX:WEL) is also among the top performers in early morning trade today, announcing that contributions from the new Texas acquisitions – the Varn Oil Field and Group Prospect – are forecast to lift production by between 44% (base) and 100% (high) by end CY2022.
Plus, the company says there’s additional exploration upside (discovery) at both projects above and beyond the oil production forecasts.
Winchester’s existing oil and gas production in Texas in April and May generated solid revenue (thanks to soaring oil prices) of US$1,134,992 ($1.67m) for the production and sale of 11,583 barrels of oil equivalent (boe3) for the two months.
