Top 10 at 10: Which ASX stocks are flying and fumbling today?

Stockhead’s Top 10 at 10, published at 10.30am each trading day, highlights the best (and worst) performing ASX stocks in morning trade using live data.

It’s a short, sharp update to help frame the trading day by showing the biggest movers in percentage terms.

The market opens at 10am (eastern time) and the data is taken at 10:15am, once every ASX stock has commenced trading.

Today’s biggest winners include Invion (ASX:IVX) who’s first set of laboratory results from the Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre (Peter Mac) in vitro testing its INV043 drug showed it was effective against the six squamous cell carcinoma (SCC) cell lines that cover the spectrum found in anal cancers.

The global anal cancer market is forecast to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 6.3% to hit US$1.25 billion ($1.84 billion) by 20281, and anal cancers are particularly difficult to treat and most are SCCs that line the surface of the anal canal.

Preclinical testing using topical delivery of INV043 has now started as a prelude to moving to clinical human testing of anal SCC.

Also among the winners was Auroch Minerals (ASX:AOU) who’ve planned a maiden 1,000m drill program, with necessary work permits are being submitted and processed in the coming weeks for its Nevada Lithium Project (NLP) in the USA.

And Caspin Resources (ASX:CPN) has flagged high-grade rhodium mineralisation at the Yarawindah Brook PGE-Ni-Cu Project in Western Australia.

A six-month, multi-rig drilling campaign at the Serradella discover is set to commence in late October.
