Today’s biggest winners are led by Victory Goldfields (ASX:1VG) who discovered Rare Earth Elements (REEs) including critical Heavy Rare Earth Elements (HRS) from follow up assays at the Mafeking and North Stanmore project in WA.

Results indicate a High Heavy Rare Earth Oxides (HREO)/Total Rare Earth Oxides (TREO) ratio of 40% – which is kind of a big deal because HREOs are in demand for the manufacture of magnets used in electric vehicles and wind turbines.

Plus, the magnet REOs neodymium (Nd), praseodymium (Pr), terbium (Tb) and dysprosium (Dy) total 24.6%, which executive director Brendan Clark says the company is extremely pleased about.

“Adamas Intelligence forecasts that the value of global magnet rare earth oxide consumption will triple from $15.1bn in 2022 to $46.2bn by 2035 which affirms the potential opportunity with this discovery,” he said.

Also among the winners is Redstone Resources (ASX:RDS) which flagged 34m at 1.07% copper from 15m at the Forio Prospect, at the Tollu copper vein deposit at its West Musgrave project.

The company says further evaluation of Forio, surrounding Target Areas and the broader West Musgrave Project has the potential to add to the Tollu resource of 3.8 million tonnes at 1% copper, containing 38,000 tonnes of copper.
