Gold developer Sihayo Gold (ASX:SIH) saying using caustic leaching will be ”truly transformational” to its Starter Project.
Benefits include an 18% uplift in Life of Mine (LOM) gold production compared with 2022 Feasibility Study Update, and a 48% uplift in Post-Tax NPV.
Caustic leaching involves using sodium hydroxide (caustic soda) on the transitional and fresh mineralisation at a high pH (pH 13) prior to carbon in leach (CIL) gold recovery.
International money services provider OFX Group (ASX:OFX) reported net operating income (NOI) of $214.1m for the year ending March 31, up 45.6% on the prior corresponding period.
In FY24 OFX expects to grow NOI to between $225m and $243m.
