Fintech platform Way2VAT (ASX:W2V) was a big winner in early trade, after flagging the launch of its Smart Spend Debit Mastercard in partnership with Railsbank.
W2V said the Smart Spend card is “the world’s first spend card for the SMB and Enterprise market, that fully automates VAT/GST returns from end-to-end”.
The company described its technology as “an end-to-end process from capture of the receipt through to payment that
automatically analyses, reconciles, sorts and submits documentation to foreign tax authorities”.
“Employees can simply spend their allocated amounts and the VAT/GST is automatically submitted with all relevant administration completed,” W2V said.
W2V said it will start the rollout in the UK and Europe before expanding to Australia and North America.
Among junior explorers, the big winner was Alchemy Resources (ASX:ALY) which announced it has “identified a new coherent lithium and pathfinder elements anomalous corridor at its 100% owned Karonie Gold Project located east of Kalgoorlie, WA”.
