Gold miner Westgold (ASX:WGX) has raised $100m to fund a pathway to +400,000 ounces per annum of production from FY24. It was done at a reasonable 13.9% discount to the last closing price.
Growing gold producer Pantoro (ASX:PNR) is also raising cash. The $45m placement will be done at 29c per share – a ~14% discount to the last closing price.
