Pan Asia Metals (ASX:PAM) has signed a non-binding MOU with VinES Energy to conduct a feasibility study for a standalone lithium conversion facility in Vietnam.

The potential 20-25,000tpa hydroxide facility will be located close to VinES’ battery plant, PAM says.

Great Western Exploration (ASX:GTE) has completed phase 1 drilling over a large 3.7km x 450m anomaly at the Firebird gold project.

And a US subsidiary of shipbuilder Austal (ASX:ASB) has been awarded a contract worth up to US$3.195bn from the US Navy.

The initial deal for the detail design of the Auxiliary General Ocean Surveillance Ship T-AGOS 25 Class is worth US$113m alone.
