Viking Mines (ASX:VKA) hit thin “bonanza” gold up to 36g/t at the ‘First Hit’ project in WA.

Frontier Energy (ASX:FHE) has re-commenced trading on ASX following “strong demand” for an $8 million capital raising.

American West Metals (ASX:AW1) hit thick intervals of strong visual copper mineralisation outside the current resource at the ‘Western Desert’ project in Utah.

Lodestar Minerals (ASX:LSR) has begun early stage lithium exploration at the ‘Coolgardie West’ project in WA.

And Mount Burgess Mining (ASX:MTB) says met testwork shows that gallium and germanium may be recovered from the Kihabe/ Nxuu polymetallic project in Botswana, “representing significant credits for the project”.

Gallium is used in things like LED lights, solar cells and semiconductors. Germanium is used in fibre optic systems and infra-red imaging devices.
