Venture Minerals (ASX:VMS) has just made the transition from explorer to producer, booking the company’s first iron ore shipment for early September.

Biotech Hexima (ASX:HXL) filed an important design patent.

Cybersecurity play Whitehawk (ASX:WHK) renewed a contract with the US Federal government.

After an extended delay, aspiring niobium producer Globe Metals and Mining (ASX:GBE) received its all-important mining licence – positioning ‘Kanyika’ to be the first niobium mine in Africa and the first new producer in 50 years.

And mid-tier nickel play Western Areas (ASX:WSA) has emerged as a takeover target for major miner IGO (ASX:IGO).
