Rise and Shine: What you need to know before the ASX opens

On Stockhead today, the Aussie biotechs joining the crusade for a COVID-19 cure, the ASX sectors booking big profits thanks to government stimulus and what investors need to know ahead of today’s RBA announcement.

The day ahead

Markets will be focused on the RBA’s interest rates policy announcement (2:30pm EST), in the wake of a more dovish policy shift by the US Federal Reserve last week.

There’s also CoreLogic’s monthly house price data for August, along with a wave of manufacturing PMI figures across global markets.
