The day ahead

Key data in Australia will be led by the release of July jobs data from the ABS at 11:30am AEST.

The median market forecast is for monthly jobs growth of 30,000, but an increased participation rate (more people looking for work) is expected to see the unemployment rate climb towards 8 per cent.
