Rise and Shine: What you need to know before the ASX opens

The day ahead

Today all eyes will be on the Reserve Bank as it holds its monthly meeting. Interest rates are not expected to change but it is the first meeting since Victoria’s COVID-19 situation escalated and it will likely comment on this.

Also keep a lookout for ANZ-Roy Morgan’s weekly consumer confidence index, AIG’s performance of services’ index and Australia’s foreign reserves figure.
