The day ahead

It’s a quiet one on the local data front today. Later tonight the UK has December inflation data, while the US Federal Reserve will release its Beige Book — a qualitative report on the health of the economy. The Book is issued eight times a year and is based on interviews with companies and economists across the 12 Fed districts.

The following companies are in trading halts and are expected to exit in the next 48 hours:

Tuesday:

New World Resources (ASX:NWC) – project acquisition

Wednesday:

Aura Energy (ASX:AEE) – capital raising
Nova Minerals (ASX:NVA) – capital raising
Indiana Resources (ASX:IDA) – corporate update
Force Commodities (ASX:4CE) – organisational change
Tamaska Oil and Gas (ASX:TMK) – capital raising
Kalamazoo Resources (ASX:KZR) – capital raising
Altura Mining (ASX:AJM) – refinancing transaction
