The day ahead
All eyes will be on the RBA today, starting with a speech by deputy governor Guy Debelle called “Employment & Wages” at 10:50am in Canberra.
That will be followed by the main event — a speech from governor Philip Lowe at 8:05pm in Sydney titled “Unconventional Monetary Policy”.
The speech is expected to provide some clarity around the bank’s view towards different policy measures to stimulate a slowing economy, and could have an important bearing on the overall policy outlook.
The following companies are in trading halts or suspensions and are expected to exit in the next couple of trading days.
