Rise and Shine: What you need to know before the ASX opens

It’s a quiet week ahead in data. On Wednesday we’ll see the CBA Composite Purchasing Managers Index and ABS Skilled Vacancies.
Commentary from the RBA will be in focus, particularly a speech from central bank governor Philip Lowe on Thursday called “Inflation Targeting & Economic Welfare” (1:05pm eastern time).
The ASX quarterly reporting deadline is next Wednesday July 31 so we will see quarterlies trickling in as the week progresses, although the majority will come out next week.
Today we are expecting Saracen Mineral Holdings (ASX: SAR) to release results followed by Senex Energy (ASX: SXY) and Oz Minerals (ASX: OZL) on Tuesday.
